Hello everybody! My wish for this year was to make wine of strawberries. In the past I made of several products wine (including cola-wine but that wasn't a good idea!). - I began on this day to clean the barrel. - I filled the barrel with 1 Liter of water. - Then four boxes with 500 gram of frozen strawberries are cleaned - Each strawberry has it's leave, I removed this leave and throw it in the barrel. - Then I realize the amount of then frozen strawberries in the water and filled with an extra liter of water. - Added some sugar (1000 gram) - Added yeast and other things - Wait until everything is not cold but on temperature and t

In the Netherlands we've got a period of Winter. A period with ice and snow. This year the ice and snow came very late. But when the ice and snow comes  in the Netherlands it is very cold. Our railway business cannot operate in this cold, I hear from the radio. We've got some traditions when it's cold and it has been frozen. One of those traditions is to ice skate in Friesland, the Elf Stedentocht, translated to English the Eleven Cities Tour. It's a must and the last time it has been ridden is in 1997! Because the lakes must be frozen around 20 centimeters. Well for me, I like a short period of winter but it's very cold. But now I'm losing
